ComicCache Privacy Policy

ComicCache is a free app built by Scott Cheezem. This policy explains what information the app handles and where it is stored. If you have any questions, contact [email protected].

ComicCache does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Your cached comics and settings are stored in your own private iCloud account and are not accessible to the developer.

Information stored by the app

ComicCache stores the following on your device and syncs it through your private iCloud account:

Comics you cache for offline reading
App settings and preferences

This data lives in your private iCloud container. The developer cannot read, access, or collect it.

Built-in web browser

ComicCache includes a built-in web browser for browsing comic sites. When you visit a website through the browser, that site may set cookies or collect information about you under its own privacy policy. ComicCache does not control what those sites collect. Local browsing data may be stored on your device.

Diagnostics and crash reports

If you have opted in to share analytics and crash data with app developers through your device settings, Apple may provide the developer with crash logs and diagnostic information. This is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can change this at any time in your device settings.

Children’s privacy

ComicCache does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not collect personal information from any user, including children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
