DeepLinks Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 25, 2026

DeepLinks is a free app built by Scott Cheezem. This policy explains what information the app handles and where it is stored. If you have any questions, contact [email protected].

DeepLinks does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Your deep links and settings are stored in your own private iCloud account and are not accessible to the developer.

Information stored by the app

DeepLinks stores the following on your device and syncs it through your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit:

  • Deep links you create or open
  • Display names you assign to deep links
  • Pinned colors and pinned state
  • App settings and preferences

This data lives in your private iCloud container. The developer cannot read, access, or collect it.

Local web server

DeepLinks includes an optional local web server that handles requests entirely on your device. Requests made to the web server are processed locally and are not sent to the developer or any third party.

Diagnostics and crash reports

If you have opted in to share analytics and crash data with app developers through your device settings, Apple may provide the developer with crash logs and diagnostic information. This is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can change this at any time in your device settings.

Children’s privacy

DeepLinks does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not collect personal information from any user, including children.
